Taliban commanders sexually abuse young boys

The Taliban group commanders in Afghanistan have been accused of sexually abusing young boys, after hiring them for insurgency activities.

The Afghan intelligence – National Directorate of Security (NDS) following a statement said Sunday that the Taliban group commanders are hiring teenager boys in Maidan Wardak province of Afghanistan, where they are sexually abused besides using the young boys for insurgency activities including roadside bombings.

The statement further added that the Afghan security forces became aware of the sexual abuse of children by Taliban group commanders, after a 17-year-old boy was arrested by Afghan intelligence operatives.

According to NDS officials, the 17-year-old Ehsanullah, was hired by a Taliban group commander Noor Agha in Maidan Wardak province of Afghanistan, where he was used in major terrorist attacks in this province.

Ehsanullah quoted in the statement issued by NDS has confessed that he was sexually abused by Taliban group commanders Noor Agha and Farid.

NDS in its statement also added that the detained teenager insurgent is in custody of the Afghan intelligence forces.

The Taliban group has not commented regarding the report so far.
