An ISAF helicopter was damaged when its front rotor blade accidentally struck the ground upon landing in Parwan province today. There was no insurgent involvement in this incident.
ISAF service members have assessed the initial damage and are currently making the needed repairs to safely fly the aircraft back to an ISAF base.
There were no injuries.
