It was one of the deadliest attacks of the war for U.S. forces in Afghanistan. The target: a remote U.S. outpost in Wanat, Nuristan. The date: July 13, 2008. ABC News has obtained a view of the battle unseen until now: the attack, filmed by the Taliban as they assaulted the base. The exclusive video of the attack was obtained via the NEFA Foundation.

what is wrong with the media in this country? they dont want to show combat videos on the 6 o clock news cause its too violent-then they show combat video of U.S. troops being fired on and killed.Maybe the media should be made to man those outposts.nothing but a bunch of disgusting low-life motherfuckers.

as a marine to see a battle where we r not suportted by air, or artilery. what the fuck r those commanders thinking. you need to be on the high ground and have a b-52 strike up the taliban ass.

What in the hell were those soldiers doing in that bowl,with high ground all around them and no air support.Those commanders need all their asses fired and that should be just the start of punishment.Those in charge need to leave the Military,no question!!!!!
