News Canadian Soldier Killed In Afghanistan

One Canadian soldier was killed and two others injured after the light armoured vehicle they were travelling in hit a roadside bomb in southern Afghanistan Wednesday.
The incident took place in the Panjawii district, and the soldiers were on a clearance operation at the time.
The soldier becomes the 78th Canadian to die in Afghanistan since 2002.
The name of the deceased has not been released.
