A Welsh Guard, Lt Colonel Rupert Thorneloe, has become the most senior Army officer to die in action since the Falklands War.

Trooper Joshua Hammond also died when their armoured vehicle hit a roadside bomb.

At the time of the Queen's birthday Parade, Huw Edwards interviewed Lt Col Thorneloe about the experiences he and his men faced during their tour.
